GifCities for iMessage is built to collect as little as possible. Plainly:

• No personal data is collected. The app doesn't gather names, contacts, device identifiers, or anything else about you.
• No account or login is required. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs. Nothing in the app watches how you use it or reports back to anyone.
• Search queries go straight to GifCities. When you search, your query is sent directly to gifcities.org (the Internet Archive) to fetch results. We don't store or see your queries or usage — they never pass through a server we run.
• Selected GIFs are temporary. When you tap a GIF to send it, it's downloaded briefly so it can be inserted into your message. It isn't retained, logged, or transmitted anywhere else.
