Zib is a Slack-competitor messaging app with 3D workspace environments. As lead product designer, I handled everything from branding and web design to UX/UI for the messenger, settings, and 3D office spaces. The 3D workspaces were built in Blender and integrated via Unity, allowing teams to navigate virtual offices. For the messenger I designed and utilized a “powerpanel” system to create a dynamic and powerful messaging experience with threads, mentions, saved messages, and #channels. I also improved the Unity-based virtual office itself: updating textures, adding new furniture models, dynamic lighting, and a custom skybox, and re-arranging furniture — plus smoothing and reshaping the character models.
